#9 Dylan Nastanski
Dylan Nastanski is the son of Marti and Jerry Nastanski. He is a 3 year member of the varsity football team and team captain. He is also a member of the varsity track team as well as the ski club, National Honor Society, and Spanish National Honor Society. Dylan plans on attending Penn State University to major in Aerospace Engineering.
#11 Josh Kennedy
Joshua Kennedy is the son of Tara Roper and Tim and the late Carol Kennedy. He has played football for WVW for the last 4 years, the past 3 on the varsity team. Josh is also a member of the honor roll. His favorite memory has been building bonds with his teammates. After graduation, Josh would like to major in secondary education with hopes of becoming a biology teacher.
#14 Tyler Gillespie
Tyler Gillespie is the son of Mellissa Neishell and Jim Gillespie. He has played football for 1 year. He is also a member of the boys’ varsity soccer team and the boys’ varsity basketball team at Valley West. He is also a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation, Tyler plans on attending Misericordia University to study Physical Therapy.
#24 Aziz Martin
Aziz Martin is the son of Aziza Martin. He has been a member of the Spartan Football program for the last 6 years, and a member of the varsity team for the last 3. After graduation, Aziz would like to play football in college or join the Army.
#26 Zack McDaniels
Zack McDaniels is the son of Ken and Sabrina McDaniels. He has played for the Wyoming Valley West Football Program for 4 years and was named a captain this season. He was named to the All-Conference 1st team during his junior season. Zack is also a member of the National Honor Society. His favorite memory was beating Whitehall 32-21 in the subregional playoffs in 2017. After graduation, Zack plans on playing football at an undetermined college.
#42 Brendan Woods
Brendan Woods is the son of Dr. Allen and Susan Woods. He is a 3 year letterman and captain of the football team. He is a participant in Science Olympiad, Math League and Future Business Leaders of America, as well as the class of 2020 Class President. Brendan was named First Team All-Conference at Inside Linebacker for his junior season by the Times Leader. His favorite memory of playing football has been sharing pizza with Zack McDaniels during film. Brendan plans on continuing his athletic and academic careers in college by playing football and majoring in Artificial Intelligence.
#53 Gerard Davis
Gerard Davis is the son of Courtney Davis and the grandson of Carmen Davis. He has played for the Wyoming Valley West football program for the past 3 years. His favorite memory has been the Circle of Life during summer camp. After graduation, he plans on attending Lincoln Tech for their automotive program or entering the Air Force.
#55 Nathan Mooney
Nathan Mooney is the son of Paul and Maria Mooney. He is a 2-year letterman and captain for the football team. He is also a member of the National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). He has played for the Wyoming Valley West football program for 6 years. His favorite memory is beating Hazleton at their stadium last year by running the ball and draining the clock out at the end of the game. Nathan plans on attending an undetermined college.
#56 Michael Burke
Michael Burke is the son of Kelly Gower and Michael and Amanda Burke. He has played for the Spartan football program for 1 season. His favorite Spartan football memory has been going up against Murphy during scout team offense and defense. Michael plans on joining the military after graduation and then continuing on to college.
#67 Marcos Lacuesta Montoya
Marcos Lacuesta Montoya is the son of Raul Lacuesta and Amaya Montoya of Spain, he is being escorted tonight by his host mom Diane Cohen of Edwardsville. This is Marcos’ first year in the Spartan football program and he is also a member of the boys’ soccer team. After graduation, Marcos plans to study fashion design at Ferrari Fashion University in Milan, Italy in hopes of one day having his own line of designer clothing.
#73 Brandon Tirado
Brandon Tirado is the son of Maria Tecott and Alfredo Tirado. He is a 3 year letterman and captain for the football team. He was named to the first team offensive line for NPF Sports for his junior season. He is also the vice president of the Spanish National Honor Society. His favorite memory is the bus ride home after defeating Whitehall in the playoffs his sophomore season. Brandon plans on attending college and majoring in mechanical engineering.
#77 Donald Messersmith Jr.
Donald Messersmith Jr. is the son of Alysa Martinelli and Donald Messersmith Sr. Donald is a 3 year letterman and captain for the football team. He has played for the Wyoming Valley West football program for 6 years. His favorite memory is beating Whitehall in the playoffs during his sophomore year. Donald plans on attending college to major in sports medicine.
#79 Vito Donnarumma
Vito Donnarumma is the son of _____ and _____ of Germany, he is being escorted tonight by his host parents Charles and Kim Ultsh. He has played for the Spartan football program for 1 season. He has also played for the WVW Soccer team this year. His favorite memory has been the friendly treatment he has received from his teammates and coaches here. After graduation, Vito plans attending college in Germany.
#87 Jonathan Chell
Jonathan Chell is the son of Claudia Marmolejo and the grandson of the late Braulio Marmolejo. He is also being escorted by his uncle, Wilvert Marmolejo. He has played for the Wyoming Valley West football program for 5 years. His favorite memory was getting his first official tackle in the win against Scranton this season. Jonathan plans on joining the military after graduation, hoping to qualify for Special Forces and then continue on to college with hopes of entering law enforcement or the medical field.
#95 Jordan Evans
Jordan Evans is the son of Dawn Bruno. He has played for the Wyoming Valley West Football program for the past 5 years, playing the last 3 at the varsity level. He is also a member of the track team. His favorite memory has been the team bonding that occurs at the team dinners. After graduation, Jordan would like to continue playing football at an undetermined college.

Ja’Mir Murphy is the son of James Murphy and Lakisha Steele. He has been a member of the Spartan football program for 5 years, spending the past 3 years on the varsity team. After graduation, Ja’Mir would like to continue his academic and athletic careers at an undecided college.
